BCT Board Member Named to IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame

The International Game Fish Association has named five fishing greats to the 2019 class of the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and we are very proud to announce BCT Board Member Bob Hayes is one of the inductees for his extensive body of work as a fisheries policy advocate. The nomination into the prestigious Hall of Fame is a testament to Hayes’ incredible vision and leadership in the recreational angling world, and a celebration of his many accomplishments on behalf of recreational anglers and the marine resources we cherish.

Joining Hayes in this class are marine conservationist Terri Andrews, former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, pelagic game fish researcher Julian Pepperrell and tackle industry leader and conservationist Yasuhiko Tsunemi. The 2019 IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Sept. 14 at Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium in Springfield, Missouri.
